This letter is a response to someone who is doubting and struggling by David Cloud, a Christian apologist.  His answer to this predicament is as follows:

 The bottom line is this: Salvation is not difficult.

Jesus wants children to come to Him. “Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven” (Mat. 19:14). This is repeated in Matthew, Mark, and Luke, so it must be very important. Jesus even said that to be saved one must come as a little child (Mat. 18:3). Could salvation be difficult if children are invited, if, in fact, adults must in a way become childlike to do it?

Salvation is described as a gift. It is not difficult to receive a gift.

Salvation is described as drinking and eating (John 6). When the Lord Jesus dealt with the woman at the well, He offered her living water. It is not difficult to take a drink of water! One must simply be thirsty and open wide.

When I warn about “quick prayerism” or easy believism and about those who do not preach repentance, I am warning about a very specific thing. I am warning about those (and there are many) who get people to pray a prayer and then say they are saved even if they have NO interest in the things of God. I am warning about those who do not give sinners any idea that there will be a change in their life when they get saved. That is what I warn about. You, on the other hand, have many evidences of salvation and are not in that category. (Of course, I don’t know you personally, but I am taking you at your word.)

You are going to have to trust the Lord and stop listening to what men say. If you talk to 10 different people about doctrine, you can easily get 10 different answers, and that is true even if all of them attend independent Baptist churches. Forget what people are saying and trust God’s Word. You have been to Bible college. You have learned something of God’s Word. You have learned how to read it and study it for yourself. It is good to get wise counsel, but in this situation I would advise you to forget what people are saying and trust God’s Word.

Salvation is a gift. Thirteen times in the New Testament it is called a gift. Jesus Christ paid a great price for it. He offers it to every sinner. It is received by faith. Faith is “the hand of the heart” that reaches out to take God’s wonderful gift. A gift means it is absolutely free and it will never be taken away. If I had to earn it in any way, it would not be a gift. If I could lose it, it would not be a gift. I understand that Henry Ford used to give away automobiles to employees when they pleased him, but he would take the automobiles back if they got out of his favor. That is not a gift and we can praise God that He is not like that. There are no “strings attached” to His blessed Gift.

Yes, you have to truly acknowledge that you are a sinner as the Bible says and must be ready to turn your life over to the Lord. That is repentance. Repentance is “a change of mind that results in a change of life.” Repentance is not a hard thing. If it were, a child could not do it, a slow or retarded person could not do it. Repentance is a change of direction from the heart. From what you have said, I have no doubt that you have repented and trusted Christ.

One more thing. A gift is supposed to be enjoyed. Stop worrying and fretting and looking at your self, and instead look at your Saviour and enjoy His gift. You can rest in Christ. The Lord knows all about you and your situation and He wants you to enjoy your salvation. You are a young wife and mother and have a small child. That means that you are under a lot of pressure from life. God does not expect more of you than you can give. He is not a cruel, unfeeling taskmaster. He is a tender, loving Father. You won’t always feel saved when the kids are crying, and your female hormones are working overtime and you don’t understand yourself, and your young husband is not very sympathetic, and money is tight, and perhaps another child is on the way when you haven’t even gotten over the last one, and living space is limited, and the supper is burned, and you feel like you are getting sick, and the car is broken, and the dryer overheats, and the mother in law is complaining about something, and a loved one was just diagnosed with cancer, and you are running late for church, and you can’t seem to organize anything, etc. etc. etc.

That is life. As they say, “life happens,” and feelings are allusive in the midst of it all. They come and they go. You can feel saved today and lost tomorrow, feel that God loves you today and that He hates you tomorrow, feel that prayer and Bible reading are the most wonderful things in all the world today and feel like that are the dullest drudgery tomorrow. The feeling itself means nothing.

Salvation is faith from beginning to end. It is “from faith to faith” (Rom. 1:17). And faith is not sight. “For we walk by faith, NOT BY SIGHT” (2 Cor. 5:7). “For we are saved by hope: but hope that IS SEEN IS NOT HOPE: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope FOR THAT WE SEE NOT, then do we with patience wait for it” (Rom. 8:24-25). Salvation is not seeing or feeling; it is believing God’s promise in Jesus Christ. Romans 8:18-25 describes the Christian life in terms of suffering. The Christian experience in this life is not always pleasant. In fact, it can be extremely difficult at times. We are dragging around a dead body (Rom. 7:24). That is not very pleasant. We are waiting and longing for the fullness of our promised salvation, but we don’t yet have it, and waiting is difficult. We have the Holy Spirit, the earnest of our inheritance (Eph. 1:14), and we have wonderful benefits in this life; but we don’t yet have our full salvation in an experiential way. We are children of God, but we do not yet enjoy the full benefit of what that means. We are children of the great King but we do not yet bask in that glorious kingdom. We look forward to the glorious by and by but we are living in the nasty now and now.

As for sin the Christian life, it is a reality. When God saves us He does not take away the old nature. There is a struggle between the flesh and the Spirit (Rom. 7:18-19; Gal. 5:16-18). This is because God wants us to live by faith. The victory is not in leaping or flying up above the struggle (a second blessing, entire sanctification, etc.); it is growing in Christ. Growth describes something gradual, not all of the sudden and immediate. 1 Peter 5:10 is a promise that has meant a lot to me through the years, beginning when I was a brand new Christian in 1973 at age 23. “But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.” Periods of suffering precede spiritual establishment. This is not true just for the beginning of the Christian life but for the entire process until death.

We go through periods or seasons of suffering and struggling followed by strengthening and perfecting. It is like the cycles of plant life. The tea plants, for example, are grown in the mountains where we live in South Asia. Those plants go through amazing cycles. They spread and bear leaves and those leaves are cut off, and then the plants are pruned severely so that you would think that they are dead, but they aren’t. They are just going through a necessary stage in the production of tea. The Christian life is like that. We go through periods when it seems that the spiritual life is almost dead and the discouragement is so severe that we wonder what is happening and where God is. But those periods aren’t permanent. God, the Great Husbandman, is just pruning us and preparing us for more fruit (John 15). Our part is to remain faithful through it all, to keep our faith in Him, and when we do we will eventually understand the truth of Romans 5:3-5, that trouble, when endured patiently in faith, produces experience (learning more about Christ and the Christian life), which results in increased faith, which results in an increase in spirituality.

 3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
 4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
 5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

This process doesn’t happen overnight. In fact, it can take years and even decades for God to work various things into our lives.

My maternal grandmother was one of the godliest Christians I have known. I am confident that her prayers had a lot to do with my salvation after I had gone so far out into the world. She only lived a couple of years after I was saved, but I got to spend some time with her before she passed on to Glory. I had SO many moral scars and struggles because of all of the foolishness of my former life. Several months after I was saved I asked her, “Granny, do you still have any struggles with sin?” I was hoping that she would tell me that those struggles had ended decades before and that it had been only smooth sailing after that, but she replied, “Oh, yes, Dave, there are still many struggles.” She was 79 or 80 years old and had walked with Christ for more than 60 years, but there were still struggles. The only time the child of God escapes the struggle with sin is when he leaves this veil of tears.

I would recommend that you memorize some Bible promises about salvation, and use them to defeat the devil’s lies. He sends fiery darts of unbelief, and the victory over them (the only victory over them) is the shield of faith (Eph. 6:16). Faith comes from only one source, and that is the Word of God (Rom. 10:17). You can’t work faith up by trying to believe. You can only have faith by resting in God’s Word. Two promises that have helped me in times of doubt are John 3:16 and Matt. 11:28. Think about Matthew 11:28.

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

What a wonderful and simple promise. The only thing that is required of me is that I labour and am heavy laden. If that fits you, all you have to do is take Christ at His word. The rest of salvation is a gift. Then verses 29-30 speak of the rest of service.

“Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

That is the Christian life. That is discipleship, following after Christ, serving Him. After receiving Christ’s gift, I have something I must do. I must take His yoke and learn of Him. I walk with Him and serve Him. But even that is not done in my own strength but in His and He wants me to find rest in His service. If the yoke of Christian service is not easy and light, we are doing something wrong.

That is Christ’s own word about true salvation and Christianity. Don’t let anyone tell you different.

Today we spent the afternoon at a memorial of a great, great, grandma.

The number of people present were too many to count.

What was so special about her? The timing of her passing was perfect

since today was the memorial of the crucifixion and the resurrection

of Christ Jesus.

What did it have to do with her? Our connecting point was her crippled

body. She contracted Rheumatoid Arthritis many years ago. I had a bout

of it as well at a young age and knew the excruciating pain that goes

with it.

My heart went out to her.

Over time I noticed she wanted little to do with the Gospel. Since she

was part of my son’s family, she was part of most Christmases.

“Yea I’m still here, the devil doesn’t want me,” was her comment every

time we met, year after year. She wanted to die because the years went

by and her little body deteriorated to a walker, nursing home and

finally the hospice. She was angry for all the pain she had to endure,

let alone having to live in a crippled body.

I knew deep down that God was waiting on us to witness to her so she

could go to heaven. We went to visit her and asked a lot of questions

about her life and sure enough when she was young she was an avid

church goer with her four children. I knew then that God wasn’t going

to give up on her until she repented and was baptized.

Well guess what? God had angels (believers) around her at the hospice

who came daily and witnessed to her, read the Bible with her and she

finally caved in and obeyed God so He could receive her with open

arms. She was 97 years old.

What a thrill it was to hear the testimony of her last days and of God

not giving up on her.

Since the memorial was close to the Resurrection and many unbelievers

attended, powerful messages came from the pastor and her angels. Our

prayer is that many received the good news about their own salvation,

that God is forever patiently waiting for us to witness our faith to

others and for unbelievers to receive His grace.

Amazing words from the Word of God. But what do they mean? This passage foretells an amazing event we have come to call the Rapture of the Church. It is the time when God will take all living, believing Christians out of the Earth instantaneously:

“Behold, I show you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we all shall be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye…” 1 Corinthians 15:51

When will this amazing event take place? It will take place at the onset of a terrible 7-year period of time the Bible calls the Tribulation. During those gruesome days, over half the population of the world will die amidst wars, natural catastrophes, plagues, as the result of economic manipulation, and especially at the nefarious hand of an evil world ruler known in the Bible as the Antichrist.

Are we close to that event even now? Well, if you are a Christian, the answer is “Happily, yes!” The Bible is full of signs that indicate the approach of the Tribulation. Globalism, a united Europe, interlaced economies and mounting technology all point to the nearness of that time.

However if you are not a Christian, the answer for you is “Sadly, yes!” Sadly, because if you do not move quickly and come to believe in Jesus as Savior before the Rapture, you will be left behind after the Rapture to take your chances with the Antichrist and the world of his oppression. Your chances of survival will be less that 50/50, and most of those who will survive will be forced to join the new Satanic world economic system. But beware, the Bible says that joining that economic system (called the Mark of the Beast) will involve aligning yourself with the Antichrist, which will erase any chance you have to come to salvation.

But there is hope! Now, before the Rapture, you can believe on Jesus and become a Child of God. And even after the Rapture, you will have an opportunity to become a Tribulation Saint, enduring plagues and persecution, and probably being beheaded for the testimony of Christ.

(Response to a Catholic who appeals to several passages in John chapter 6 and 11 and Job 14, and Revelation 20:4-5 to deny a Pre-tribulation Rapture. But rather than Scripture, he relies primarily on the theory that the Pre-tribulation Rapture is a teaching invented fairly recently by man, and that it contradicts Catholic Church “tradition,” which rejects “sola-scriptura” [the final authority of the Bible].)

It is good to hear from you again! I remember you writing us before. I’m glad you are tuning into Prophecy Watch and keeping in contact.

You mention with a bit of derision the term “sola-scriptura.” Therein lies the problem with understanding the Bible. You must first believe it. God didn’t say,

To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to [church tradition], it is because they have no dawn. (Isaiah 8:20)

Nor did God say,

All [church tradition] is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; (2 Timothy 3:16)

Neither did He say,

Thy [church tradition] have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. (Psalm 119:11)

I must ask you three questions:

1. Are you watching for the return of Jesus Christ? If not, then you are in disobedience to His command, for He said “And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.” (Mark 13:37) If you are saying that Jesus cannot return until after the two witnesses come, after the Antichrist, after the Abomination of Desolation, after the tribulation, after the onset of Armageddon, etc., then you are not watching for Christ, and you are disobeying His command. But if you are watching for Jesus to come because you agree with Him that “the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not think He will” (Matthew 24:44), then you agree with Him that He could come at any moment, and you agree with the possibility of an imminent, pre-tribulation rapture.

2. Do you believe that Jesus cannot return until after the two witnesses come, after the Antichrist, after the Abomination of Desolation, after the tribulation, after the onset of Armageddon, etc.? Are you saying that Jesus cannot come before these events? Then you are saying that “My master is not coming for a long time.’ (Matthew 24:48) Jesus said it was the evil servant who held this view. Are you NOT expecting Jesus to come until AFTER all of those tribulation events? If so, then “the master of that slave will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour which he does not know…” (Matthew 24:50). But, on the other hand, if you are alert and ready for Jesus to come at any moment, then you are blessed and classed with “the faithful and sensible slave …” (Matthew 24:45). You also will believe that Jesus could come at any moment, even before the events of the tribulation!

3. Are you saying that you DO know “when the master of the house is coming…” and that you DO know that He will not come until after “… the evening [tribulation event #1], at midnight [tribulation event #2], at cockcrowing [tribulation event #3], or in the morning [tribulation event #4], … (Mark 13:35) ? If so then you have disregarded the command of Jesus to “to stay on the alert…lest he come suddenly and find you asleep.” (Mark 13:34, 36) If you are not saying that, and you actually believe that Jesus could come before any of these events occur, then you allow for the possibility that you had better “stay on the alert” as Jesus instructs us to, because He could come at any time, as He says He could…and the rapture could be a pre-tribulation event!

Of course, you may disregard all of this if “sola-scriptura” is not taught in the Bible. But, sir, I don’t think that you want to be in the position of any of the scenarios above.

You do mention some scriptures that seem to be convenient. But none of them teach what you imply, for the Bible cannot contradict itself. The Bible cannot teach in one place that we must be watching for Jesus to return at any moment, and then in another place teach that He cannot return until after a series of tribulation events at a specified time called “the last day.” And it does not teach this.

1. The passages you point to in which Jesus says “I Myself will raise him up on the last day” (John 6:39, 40, et al) describe a period of time that climaxes our current age—a series of culminating events. We know this because the same time-term “last day” is used in John 12:48 where it speaks of the judgment of the wicked—a judgment which doesn’t occur until a thousand years after the return of Jesus. The judgment of the wicked occurs at the Great White Throne Judgment described in Revelation 20:11-15.

“He who rejects Me, and does not receive My sayings, has one who judges him; the word I spoke is what will judge him at the last day. (John 12:48)

Does this term “last day,” then, pinpoint only one instant when the resurrection Jesus promises to believers must occur? Obviously not.

Based on the Biblical use of “last day,” then, there is certainly room in “the last day” for a series of resurrections within a ‘category of resurrection’ called “the first resurrection.” (Revelation 20:4-5) And the Bible gives ample testimony that this “first resurrection” in fact is a ‘category,’ or a ‘class’ of resurrection (for the righteous only) that includes multiple events separated by time. Strictly numerically speaking, as you evidently misuse the term “first resurrection,” Jesus was the first resurrection. Following this misunderstanding, numerically speaking, the second would be those saints who were resurrected immediately after Christ’s resurrection 2000 years ago. (Matthew 27:52-53) The third resurrection, perhaps, will be the two witnesses who are raised from the dead before Jesus comes again. (Revelation 11:7-12) The absurdity of this line of illogic leads us to the fact that the “first resurrection” found in Revelation 20:4-5 will actually be the “fourth resurrection”! And the “second” one found in Revelation 20:12 must, strictly counting, be the fifth…ad infinitum… But the term “first” in this context refers to categories of resurrections. There is a first kind (righteous only, John 5:29a “a resurrection of life”) and there is a second kind (John 5;29b, “a resurrection of judgment”). There is certainly room for another pre-tribulation resurrection among this series of resurrections within the category called “the first resurrection.” Perhaps the pre-trib rapture-resurrection simply “previously was not made known.” This phrase, “previously was not made known.” is the meaning of the Biblical term “mystery”—something previously unrevealed by God, or “previously not made known.” That is the very term Paul applies to the Christian rapture-resurrection: “Behold, I tell you a mystery; we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed… (1 Corinthians 15:51) Therefore, the Christian rapture-resurrection was ’new news” ! That’s why “Martha said to Jesus, “I know that he [Lazarus] will rise again in the resurrection on the last day.” (John 11:24) The “mystery” of the Christian rapture-resurrection was not made known until Paul’s letters. Martha was referring to the Old Testament truths she knew—that the “category of first resurrection” as referring to a general resurrection of all of the righteous at the “end time,” or the “last day,” and as taught in Daniel 12:13 and affirmed by Jesus, would happen. She did not yet know about even the resurrection of Jesus Himself, nor the raising of Lazarus, nor the other series of resurrections involved in the “first resurrection.” None of this had yet happened, nor had it yet been revealed because it was still a “mystery,” for the Holy Spirit had not yet come to “guide you unto ALL the truth.” (John 16:13)

2. In the Job 14:12 passage, Job is expressing his deep despair. He is not expressing a doctrinal truth when he says “So man lies down and does not rise. Until the heavens be no more, He will not awake nor be aroused out of his sleep” any more than Solomon is expressing a doctrinal truth in Ecclesiastes 9:3 when he laments that “there is one fate for all men.” Both are mourning the fate of finite man left alone without God. The Job passage you cite is clear in this regard because Job is actually saying in his deep suffering that a tree has more hope that he does (v. 7-12) because it will revive and live again, but a man WILL NOT. In Job’s depression, the chances of him rising again are as slim as the heavens disappearing. He has no chance, because the heavens will never disappear (Psalm 148:1-6) He then comes around from despair to hope in verses 14-15 where he allows for the possibility of a resurrection, and finally admits to the doctrinal certainty of a resurrection in 19:25-26.

Again, it is good to hear from you. I hope this has been helpful. COPELAND AND GANG STILL PREACHING PROSPERITY GOSPEL
Friday Church News Notes, August 21, 2009, www.wayoflife.org – Kenneth Copeland and his gang of Word-Faith buddies are still preaching an unabashed prosperity gospel. The recent Believers’ Convention in Fort Worth, Texas, featured five days of preaching by Kenneth and Gloria Copeland, Creflo Dollar, Jesse Duplantis, and Jerry Savelle. The 9,000 attendees heard endless appeals to plant “seed faith” offerings in order to gain God’s blessing.  Mrs. Copeland said, “God knows where the money is, and he knows how to get the money to you” (”Believers Invest in the Gospel of Getting Rich,” New York Times, Aug. 16, 2009). All you have to do to get that money rolling your way is to exercise faith in God and give generously to Pentecostal Word Faith ministries so they can live high on the hog. Savelle advised, “Any time a worried thought about money pops up in your mind, the next thing to do is sow in good ground [give money to their ministries]. Stop worrying, start sowing. That’s God’s stimulus package for you.” Edwige Ndoudi, one of the attendees, explained, “If God did it for them, he will do it for us.” The Copelands’ ministry takes in about $100 million annually.

HARRY POTTER STAR RAILS AGAINST PARENTS WHO OPPOSE HOMOSEXUAL SEX EDUCATION
Friday Church News Notes, August 21, 2009, www.wayoflife.org – The following is excerpted from “Harry Potter Star Blasts Parents,” LifeSiteNews, Aug. 13, 2009: “20-year-old Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has, in an interview with a homosexual magazine, expressed anger and intolerance for parents who oppose education about homosexual sex in the classroom. ‘Then there’s all this stuff at the moment, which is hateful, about people being up in arms about the idea of gay sex education in schools. Hello!?!  Actually for the one or two gay kids in the class, it’s ******** vital!  It really makes me angry,’ he said in an interview with Attitude. The magazine quotes Radcliffe continuing his tirade against pro-family parents saying: ‘I just loathe homophobia. It’s just disgusting and animal and stupid and it&r squo;s just thick people who can’t get their heads around it and are just scared.’”

SCHOOL OFFICIALS FACE JAIL TIME FOR MEAL-TIME PRAYERS
Friday Church News Notes, August 21, 2009, www.wayoflife.org  – The following is excerpted from OneNewsNow, Aug. 11, 2009: “A principal and an athletic director are facing criminal charges for a lunch-time prayer. Last year, the American Civil Liberties Union filed a lawsuit against Pace High School in Santa Rosa County, Florida. The ACLU claimed some teachers and administrators were endorsing religion, but the school chose to give in to the ACLU’s demands rather than fight them in court. According to the settlement, all school employees are banned from engaging in prayer or religious activities before, during, or after school hours. Now two school officials are facing criminal charges for offering meal-time prayers at an appreciation dinner for adults who had helped with a school field house project. Principal Frank Lay and athletic director Robert Freeman are scheduled to go on tri al next month on criminal contempt charges. If convicted, both are subject to fines and imprisonment. Matt Staver is founder of Liberty Counsel, which will argue the court order prohibiting prayer at school-related events violated Lay’s and Freeman’s constitutional rights. … Staver [says that] it is outrageous to punish a school official with potential jail time for simply praying.”

PAUL’S DOCTRINE OF REPENTANCE
Friday Church News Notes, August 21, 2009, www.wayoflife.org  – In Acts 26:13-20 the Apostle Paul recounted the ministry that Christ had given to him by revelation. He was sent to the Gentiles “to open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God” by exhorting them “that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance” (Acts 26:18, 20). Consider three lessons from this. First, repentance was at the very heart of Paul’s ministry. His objective was not to get men merely to “believe” in Christ in a shallow sense, not just to get them to pray a “sinners prayer,” but to have them experience a radical turning by God’s power. Second, we see that repentance must issue in faith (Acts 26:18). Repentance alone does not save; it must be accompanied by faith. In Acts 20:21 Paul described salvatio n as “repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.” Third, repentance results in a change of life (Acts 26:20). Paul preached the same thing as John the Baptist in this matter of repentance (Mat. 3:8). Some preachers today call this doctrine of repentance a lordship or works salvation, but it is not. How can it be wrong to follow Paul’s doctrine of repentance? Those who don’t like it need to examine their own faith and trade their man-made “quick prayerism” tradition for the pure Word of God. Biblical repentance is not works. It is not a change of life; it is a dramatic change of mind toward God that results in a change of life. Charles Spurgeon wisely commented, “Do you imagine that the gospel is magnified, or God glorified by going to the worldings and telling them that they may be saved at this moment by simply accepting Christ as their Saviour, while they are wedded to their idols and their hearts are still in love wi th sin? If I do so, I tell them a lie, pervert the gospel, insult Christ, and turn the grace of God into lasciviousness.”

Answer:  We are living in Babylon which means “confusion.” Michael sent me a summary of the American History, which I also studied, so I had found it quite accurate. This is why I have posted it on my web site. Who is the BEAST and the False Prophet, and the Anti-christ, and the Anti-god is VITAL to know. The Bible clarify these being clearly, if we look at it carefully. Our problem now is that we are ALL “deceived” Rev.12:9, so we are not able to see the full picture, UNTIL our Creator “reveals” it to us, as He did to Apostle Paul the “mystery” Eph.3:3. The “False Prophet” Rev.19:20 is Papacy, the “another beast” Rev.13:11! The “Beast” is a more complex figure, for there is a #1 the “Human Beast,” whose “deadly wound is healed” Rev.13:3, 12. He comes first or BEFORE #2 “the Beast” comes. The final “BEAST” of Rev.17 #3 is the UNITED Beast of the “Spirit Beast,” who comes up form the “bottomless pit” Rev.11:7, who posses the Human Beast’s physical body, making it appear that it is resurrected, or came back to life. The BEAST is then the “Anti-christ.” Then there is the Anti-god, or Satan the Devil Rev.12:9, who is the “god of this world” 2Cor.4:4, who was created “evil” from his creation, (He did not fall, as Lucifer) by not having “truth” in him Jn.8:44. So the BEAST is a human / spirit being, or a governmental, none religious figure, say a king, executive / president whom the “another beast” will worships, is then the FALSE PROPHET. The BEAST is “higher” in status / rank than the ecclesiastic False Prophet. Now, as God’s “Two Witnesses” Rev.11:3 has many “prophets,” the Beast has many people fulfill that office. (I believe the first one was Mr. Bush, now it is Mr. Obama, and it is possible there will be a new figure coming if Mr. Obama is not the final figure. God’s “Witnesses” then are a position, or an “office” you might say, whom human beings or prophets occupy. God’s First Witness is sent to the Christians, and has ONE Prophet per Acts.13:41 or “a man.” God’s Second Witness, or office is held by two (2) prophets or “two witnesses,” who “torment” the world with “plagues” Rev.11:10, as Moses did. Now Michael at this moment cannot see this, so he has a little difficulty accepting my explanations. This tells me that he is not yet “saved.” For to be saved we MUST accept that the Bible is true. And if we see Mat.24:37, and Rev.12:9 we see that we are ALL deceived, and do not have God’s “holy spirit,” only the Holy Spirit of the churches. So if we don’t have God’s “holy spirit,” we only have an ANGELIC spirit of God’s seven churches Rev.2&3. This prevents us to be in the resurrection without dying. Why? It is because we miss Christ’s “knowledge of salvation” Lk.1:77, which was revealed to Apostle Paul in the “mystery” revelations Eph.3:3. Without the KNOWLEDGE of salvation it is difficult to be saved. This is why the “many” Mat.7:14, among the “called” Jn.6:44 “FEW” to be saved in this “age,” or “dispensation” will be all MARTYRS. I have seen the new money and the pyramid that is on the dollar bill (uncapped) is completely capped on the new money.  The world refuses to take our dollar since it is printed on paper and worthless. The Freemasons did set up this country for that purpose. Mormons are Freemasons, their temples all face east. They worship Baal.

The White House is full of Freemasons, Obama is a 33 degree Mason and they are behind schedule. The American Union was to take place in 2005 according to Rockefeller’s own words. I have a DVD. I have researched since 1992 and we are on steroids now to get there. Obama is perfect for the job since he represents interfaith. He is a Muslim / Christian (not a born again believer since you can’t be interfaith if you are). There is only ONE GOD OF THREE PERSONS (THE FATHER, THE SON AND THE HOLY SPIRIT) WHO ARE ONE GOD. Muslims and interfaith “Christians” worship a God “uno” monotheistic where born again believers worship a triune God.

The true Bride of Christ is the invisible Church, Body of Christ to be delivered soon. To receive the truth, ask God to give you the Spirit of Truth, the Holy Spirit, by repenting of the past unbelieving state of mind, and He, God, will put the Holy Spirit into your heart and give you eternal life in heaven. 
John 3:16 ”For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”  Yes, it is that simple.

One can’t believe in God until one has the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth. That’s His name. We believe all the lies when we don’t have Him. 

Jesus speaking: “And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.” John 10:28,29

Interpreting Scripture with Scripture

There is a great deal of controversy about Babylon. Many write long articles about their conviction that the United States is Babylon. It is very easy to come to that conclusion reading John’s description of Babylon. People don’t really think truth when they write their own interpretations. The United States is not what people make it out to be. It houses a lot of people who are debtors to banks, consuming products to keep the economy afloat. The bankers borrow from the Federal Reserve which is a private corporation. The American government is an example of this process. They sell treasury bonds (pieces of paper) to get funds to operate wars and subsidize the state governments with some of the money they receive from worker’s taxes of each particular state. I can’t agree that the United States is rich and glorious. Quite the contrary, she is overburdened with debt from top to bottom.

 Revelation addresses the end time. It states that much merchandise is being traded. That is the case world wide depending on who manufactures what and what is needed in each particular country.  America used to export their goods all over the world. Today she is importing and exporting little to nothing. America is fast becoming a third world country.

 What about the weapons. Who was the creator of warships, bombers, bombs, tanks and whatever is used in crushing nations. America didn’t get involved with WWII until Germany was at her weakest point. The people had already surrendered and accepted Americans as deliverers from their evil empire.

 Why did Hitler’s Germany have to be divided and conquered? It had become an industrial nation. It was unified in their religion, work ethic and national pride. The Bible teaches unity like that is very powerful, so powerful that it threatens God. It can be paralleled to the Tower of Babel. (Genesis 11:1-8)

 In fact the European Union uses the picture of the Tower of Babel surrounded by a number of pentagrams as a representation of who they represent in the Bible.

 Hitler’s dream was Germany over ‘all’ (the entire world). That national anthem was “Deutschland, Deutschland, ueber alles.. “  Hitler was the machine working for the Papacy. As a young man, Hitler aspired to become a Catholic Priest which is hardly ever mentioned.  Considered today as the most evil leader who ever existed, he was certainly possessed by the devil. Today his dream is fulfilled. Nobody believed that it could be done but it got done.

 The Roman Empire in Biblical times was not just Italy. It encompassed many countries. Romans were warriors conquering and raping countries. They were in Israel for the same reason to kill and rape. Jesus was a threat because His followers wanted Him to become King. His reply was that His Kingdom was not of the world.  

The Catholic Church teaches that the Apostle Peter was the first Pope.  Jesus was referring to Himself when he addressed Peter and said: “And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”  (Matthew 16:18) The Bible refers to Jesus as the rock in a number of verses. Take  Matthew 7:25  “And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.”

 Taking that literally, the house would be washed off the rock by the rain and wind since there is nothing to hook unto. Jesus later said to Peter,  “But when he had turned about and looked on his disciples, he rebuked Peter, saying, Get thee behind me, Satan: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but the things that be of men.”

 Obviously Jesus could not have trusted a man with His church. In 380 A.D. Catholic Christianity was declared a state religion of the Roman Empire.  In 381 A.D. the First Ecumenical Council was held in Constantinople.

 Since we are discussing the church here, can we say that this ecumenical Catholic Christianity is what Jesus was referring to when He spoke of His Church? Certainly not. This question leads us into the “Mystery Babylon.” 

 BABYLON THE ANCIENT COUNTRY

 The word Babylon comes up in different context in various parts of the Bible and needs to be addressed if we are going to find out who or what Babylon is.

In 2 Kings 24:10 we find Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon. The location is Iraq today. The Book of Daniel refers to a dream that Nebuchadnezzar had that lays the foundation of the future Babylon.  

There are three concepts of Babylon. One is the country run by Nebuchadnezzar.

 THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE TOWER OF BABEL

AND BABYLON

 The second concept is the relationship of Babylon to the Tower of Babel. It represents the people building this tower of Babel into heaven by means of Astrology, Freemasonry that originated in Solomon’s Temple. Solomon’s Temple was God’s Temple until Solomon married 700 pagan women.

 The people were unified in their effort to reach heaven without God, instead reaching for Satan’s principality and his powers. God countered this movement by dividing the people into hundreds of groups, giving them new languages that made it impossible to communicate. He disbursed them across the world. That is what caused the many ethnic groups. The name of the Tower of Babel is derived from the word “babble” depicting the sounds of foreign languages.

 To regain Satan’s powers men had to develop new ways to get access. The Masonic Brotherhood became popular world wide. Persecution developed between Christians and the brotherhood. Masonic practices were forbidden by the Gospel. Most all kings, queens and presidents of countries participate in this brotherhood and practice its rituals worshipping Satan for gain.

To dupe the people who were not invited to join the brotherhood, this Masonic craft was kept secret.  This was the very reason the Masons were also called Knights and infiltrated the churches, predominantly the Catholic Church.

 Although the Knights of Templar were originally Christ’s representatives protecting pilgrims on the road to Jerusalem, they were infiltrated as well and consequently became corrupted.

 The Knights of Templar developed the banking system and accumulated riches. Pope Clement V in 1305 accused the Templars of malpractices and eradicated the brotherhood by hangings, burnings at the stake and lifetime incarcerations. Few escaped to England and Ireland where they continued their practice.

 The Pope also protected the Hospitaler and the Knights of Malta.

In 1776 the United States of America was founded mostly by men who were Freemasons. Since this teaching originated under King Solomon in Israel the brotherhood consisted originally of Jews who infiltrated countries all over the world. In America they set up a government which allowed them to practice their craft without interference from government or churches. Free speech was the key. Today Freemasons / Jews are the government of the world system. They are once again working on the Tower of Babel trying to unify the world into one entity against God’s will.

 THE REEMERGING TOWER OF BABEL

 If God destroyed the effort once,  why would He want it to reappear?

The question is answered in the Book of Daniel.   

Daniel 2:28-47 “But there is a God in heaven that revealeth secrets, and maketh known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days. Thy dream, and the visions of thy head upon thy bed, are these;  As for thee, O king, thy thoughts came into thy mind upon thy bed, what should come to pass hereafter: and he that revealeth secrets maketh known to thee what shall come to pass.  But as for me, this secret is not revealed to me for any wisdom that I have more than any living, but for their sakes that shall make known the interpretation to the king, and that thou mightest know the thoughts of thy heart. 

Thou, O king, sawest, and behold a great image. This great image, whose brightness was excellent, stood before thee; and the form thereof was terrible.  This image’s head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass, His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay.”

 [THE FOLLOWING VERSE SPEAKS OF THE CHURCH, THE BODY OF CHRIST, INVISIBLE] “Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces.  Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.”

[THE PREVIOUS SENTENCE REFERS TO JESUS CHRIST AND HIS CHURCH]   

 “This is the dream; and we will tell the interpretation thereof before the king. Thou, O king, art a king of kings: for the God of heaven hath given thee a kingdom, power, and strength, and glory. And wheresoever the children of men dwell, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the heaven hath he given into thine hand, and hath made thee ruler over them all. Thou art this head of gold.” [NEBUDCHADNEZZAR WAS THE KING OF BABYLON] “And after thee shall arise another kingdom inferior to thee, and another third kingdom of brass, which shall bear rule over all the earth. And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise.

 “And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters’ clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay. And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.  And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay. 

 “And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.  Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure. 

 “Then the king Nebuchadnezzar fell upon his face, and worshipped Daniel, and commanded that they should offer an oblation and sweet odours unto him. The king answered unto Daniel, and said, Of a truth it is, that your God is a God of gods, and a Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, seeing thou couldest reveal this secret.

 Daniel 2:32 & 38 prove that the head of gold represents Babylon (Iraq) run by Nebuchadnezzar.  The breast and arms of silver follows the fall of Babylon and represents Mede, Persia (Iran) (Daniel 2:39) The third kingdom was signified by brass representing Greece (philosophies, evolution, man = to God).  The fourth kingdom in charge was represented by the legs of iron. That’s the Roman Empire.

 “The feet of this statue representing the world were made of iron and clay which does not hold together. The Roman Empire was infiltrated with Christians.  (Daniel 2:42, 43) 

 The ten toes represent the final reward by Antichrist to the ten kings who helped him secure the world. The Club of Rome has divided the world into 10 regions.

 Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Persia, Greece and the Roman Empire that existed before Christ Jesus and during His ministry vanished over time. (Daniel 2:38-44) The Bible calls for the Roman Empire to reappear.

 Revelation 17:10-18 And there are seven kings: five are fallen (Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Persia and Greece) , and one is (Roman Empire), and the other is not yet come (Antichrist Kingdom); and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.

 (Here it is told who the beast is) “And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.

 “And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast. These (10 Kings of the world system or the European Union which also has within it a group of 10) shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

 “And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues. And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.

 “For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled. And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, (Rome) which reigneth over the kings of the earth.”

 MYSTERY BABYLON

 This brings us to the third Babylon called the Mystery Babylon. The question is, what does the whore have to do with Babylon?

The Papacy claims to be the church founded by the Apostle Peter which is not true. Romans were Gentiles and the Gentiles were assigned to the Apostle Paul.

 Ephesians 3:1-21 confirms that the Apostle Paul was to teach the Gentiles. Paul stated the following:  “For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles, If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward: How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,  Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; That the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:

“Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.”

 “ Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord: In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him. “

 “Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory. For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.”

 The word mystery came up several times in connection with God’s message. It is a mystery to most and only revealed to those who ask God to reveal it through His apostles.

 Since Satan is also a spirit being, he has his mysteries as well. They cannot be received without joining a brotherhood of Masonry of sorts. Most Masons have no idea that they are caught up in Satan’s territory. They are told to join a church to make them think that they are Christians as well. His teachings are so parallel to God’s, that many will not be receiving salvation. They are unwittingly caught in Satan’s promises instead of God’s. 

 “And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.”   [It is a well-known fact that most all leaders visit the Pope and get his blessings. Many get knighted by the Pope which includes Christian preachers. Fornication means that they participate in paganism].

 “So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads (previously discussed) and ten horns (ten regions given to 10 kings). And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:” [The Bible could not be clearer about the fact that this description fits the Papacy with its Cardinals].

 “And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.”  [Notice here the application to earth, not a specific country].

 Most all denominations are offspring from the Catholic Church and those that are not have Masonic roots touching base with the Masonic roots of the Catholic Church. Most all denominations are members of the Ecumenical Council of Churches. The word “Catholicism” means “universal”. The Popes have a relationship with Muslims as well because they are Masons. The Holy Quran is one of the three Emblematical Lights in masonry.

 “And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration. And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns. The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is [Roman Empire] . And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains [Rome sits on seven mountains], on which the woman sitteth. And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space. And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.”

 The answer to our original question:  “is the United States Babylon?” This passage answers that question.  “And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.”  The seven are Egypt, Babylon, Mede / Persia, Greece and the Roman Empire (comes up 3 times: was, is, and will be) which makes seven and the eighth is the Antichrist.  

 CONCLUSION:

 “And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.

 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her. And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,

Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.

 And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more: The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble,  And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men. 

 And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all. The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing,

 And saying, Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls! For in one hour so great riches is come to nought.

And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off, And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city!

And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.

 “Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her. And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all. And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee;”

  “And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived. And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.” Amen
